Bibliography

Black-glazed Corinthian type skyphos mended from many fragments and restored. It was found in 1956 on the south slope of the Acropolis. Its flaring foot is ring-shaped, the body walls curve inwards and two bell handles are attached near the rim. The pot bears black lustrous glazing except for the inside of the handles and the rim, the lowest part of the body (decorated with black rays) and the underside of the base which all remain in clay-colour.
