Semissis of Constans II recovered from the so-called “Asklepieion's hoard B”. On the obverse side of the coin is portrayed the bust of Constans II turned to the right. He is wearing a paludamentum over a cuirass and has a diadem on his head. The legend around the bust reads dNCONSTAN [TINYS]PP[AV], meaning “Our Lord Constans, Perpetuus Augustus”. On the reverse a cross is depicted standing on a sphere. The cross consists of two intersecting lines both ending in vertical small bars (cross potent) with dots at the ends. The inscription on this side states VICTORIAAVGYS that means “victory of Augustus”.
