Bibliography

Black-glazed saltcellar mended from many fragments and restored. It was found in 1957 on the south slope of the Acropolis.

It is ring-footed, has with thick walls, incurving rim and a conical nipple on the underside. The glazing that covers the whole pot is black except from a groove around the foot and body junction and a groove on the resting surface, that remain in the colour of the clay.
