Part of a loutrophoros' neck decorated in the red-figure technique. It was found in fragments in 1959 at the Sanctuary of the Nymphe and was pieced together and restored.

It depicts a scene of a loutrophoria procession. A boy wearing a wreath and a himation precedes playing the double-flute. With the flute’s melody he accompanies the hymenaios that the rest of the participants sing. The wreaths symbolised fertility and prosperity in the newlyweds’ common life and were worn not only by them but by their guests as well. They were also used for the decoration of the areas where the wedding celebrations took place.
