Part of a loutrophoros' neck decorated in the red-figure technique. It was found in fragments in 1957 at the Sanctuary of the Nymphe and was reassembled and restored.

It is decorated with a loutrophoria procession. Two women, clad in long chiton and himation, are walking towards a third one who awaits them. They have their hair gathered in low buns and ribbons on their heads. The first woman, chosen by the bride’s family, carries the loutrophoros containing water for the nuptial bath and the second one a lit torch. The young woman who awaits them is probably the bride, as indicated by the wide band on her hair and the wreath she holds in her left hand.
