On the occasion of the Greek National Holiday on Friday 25 March 2016, entry will be free for all visitors at the Acropolis Museum. As every Friday, the Museum exhibition areas will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the restaurant on the second floor will remain open until 12 midnight.
Other than the permanent collection, visitors will have the opportunity to see the three golden Scythian finds in the exhibition “Scythian heralds from the Hermitage to the Acropolis Museum”, displayed in the Museum foyer.
On the same day, the Museum restaurant will serve a Greek traditional meal and from 8 p.m. onwards visitors are welcomed to dine at the restaurant or enjoy a cold dish or dessert, with jazz background music.
