NoHMATA ‘Meanings’. Personifications and Allegories from Antiquity to Today

Accompanying scientific catalogue of the temporary exhibition "ΝoHMATA 'Meanings'. Personifications and Allegories from Antiquity to Today" organized by the Acropolis Museum (4 December 2023 - 14 April 2024). The catalogue in the first part includes a lengthy introductory text with a brief overview of the exhibition as well as essays by renowned scholars that contribute to the understanding of personifications and allegories through time. The second part presents the 170 objects in the exhibition in each section, in high-quality photographs, accompanied by extensive explanatory entries and rich bibliographical documentation.
