Black-glazed multi-nozzle lamp found during one of the Acropolis excavation campaigns.

Its body has a curved profile and the rim slants inwards. Its central hollow tube either facilitated the lamp’s suspension or was intended to be set on a lamp-stand. It has thirteen short nozzles with wide wick-holes. The lamp is covered in fine paint that varies between brown and black whereas the base remains in the colour of the clay. Around the rim runs a narrow scrapped band.
