Black-glazed multi-nozzle lamp found during one of the Acropolis excavation campaigns.

The body has a curved profile and the rim slants inwards. Its central hollow tube either facilitated the lamp’s suspension or was intended to be set on a lamp-stand. It has ten short nozzles around the body that retain fire traces. The lamp is covered in fine black paint, diluted in some parts, whereas around the rim runs a clay-coloured band. A groove adorns the stem top which remains also in clay-colour. The disk-shaped base is covered in slip.
