Loutrophoros-hydria decorated in the black-figure technique. It was found in 1959 in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe in fragments and was pieced together.

On the neck of the vase a woman is walking between two men. She holds a wreath in her hand which symbolises fertility and prosperity. On the vase’s body, on one side, a wedding procession is depicted with the figures of the newlyweds fragmentarily preserved. It shows the transportation of the bride on a quadriga to her new home, the groom’s paternal house. Next to the chariot stands a woman carrying on her head a tray, filled perhaps with gifts for the bride. On the loutrophoros’ other side two opposing Sirens are depicted. The lower part of the vase is covered with rays and the base with black paint.
