Lekythos for serving oil. It was found in 1956 on the south slope of the Acropolis. It is mended from three fragments and part of the rim is missing. The globular body rests on a ring-foot and the narrow neck widens into a funnel-shaped mouth. The handle adjusts to the shoulder and just below the mouth. Black glazing covers the whole pot.
