Incense burner (thymiaterion) in the form of a woman’s bust that holds on her head a basket. It was found in 1956 on the Acropolis south slope. The lowest part of the vessel is missing.

The woman wears peplos fastened on the shoulders with fibulae and her hair is drawn back. Behind her back rises the back of a throne. The incense was put in the basket. All over the surface are retained traces of white slip. This incense burner most possibly comes from a house shrine.
