The hero wears a short chiton over which he has his renown lion-skin. The slain animal’s head covers the back of Herakles’ head whereas the legs are tied over his chest in a knot (Herakles knot) and the tail wraps around the hero’s waist. The colours used for decorating the figurine’s surface are still relatively well preserved.
