Nature at the Acropolis Museum: Animals

At the Acropolis Museum reside some of the most beautiful ancient depictions of animals. Alongside the Archaeologist-Hosts, visitors will discover the diversity of fauna in various places in the Museum, and will have the opportunity to discuss the role of each animal, its relationship with people in antiquity, and the creation, form and significance of imaginary creatures in ancient art.

Duration: 60 minutes

Participation: Limited to 30 visitors per session. For registration, please refer to the Information Desk at the Museum entrance on the same day. The gallery talk is free of charge. Only the admission fee to the permanent exhibition is required (5 euros).
