It was found in 1957 on the south slope of the Acropolis and has been mended from three fragments and restored. It is flat-bottomed with widening body walls and outturned rim. A wooden shaft fitted in the hollow spout handle. Horizontal grooves run around the body. Since the pan was placed over fire, the flames have burnt parts of the surface.

Frying pans were most possibly used for roasting spice seeds, such as cumin and pepper, as well as fruits which were served along with wine.
