It was found in 1960 on the south slope of the Acropolis. It is mended from many fragments and restored. It is flat-bottomed with shallow body and horizontal cylindrical handle. A groove runs along the top of the rim. Since the pan was placed over fire, the flames have burnt parts of the surface.

Frying pans were most possibly used for roasting spice seeds, such as cumin and pepper, as well as fruits which were served along with wine.
