Part of the left foot of a female statue and the plinth it stands on. The upper part of the foot is covered by the folds of a long chiton whereas the heel is exposed. Traces of fire on the fragment’s surface are probably the result of the torching of the Acropolis by the Persians in 480 BC.

This foot fragment, as well as the head Ακρ. 658, have been attributed to the torso Ακρ. 293 belonging to a statue of Athena. According to a theory it forms part of a composition along with the torso of a warrior Ακρ. 141, probably depicting a Giant, who participates in the Gigantomachy.
