On the occasion of World Tourism Day on Friday 27 September 2019 entrance to the Museum will be free from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (last admission 9:30 p.m.). Like every Friday, the Museum second floor restaurant will be open until 12 midnight (reservations on +30 210 9000915)
On the same day, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the following presentations:
Walking in the ancient neighborhood of the Acropolis Museum
Visitors, guided by the Museum’s archaeologists, are given the opportunity to wander through the archaeological excavation which stretches underneath the Museum, like a giant exhibit.

Duration: 45 minutes

A walk through the Museum with an archaeologist
Visitors have the opportunity to participate in evening walks through the Museum exhibition galleries, making unanticipated stops and various discussions, together with one of our experienced archaeologists.

Duration: 60 minutes
