The Acropolis Museum celebrates International Museum Day on 18 May 2010 with free entry for all visitors, extended opening hours from 8:00 a.m. to 12 midnight and music performances by the Athens Municipality Orchestra in the Museum’s entrance courtyard from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

New gallery talks
On the same day, Archaeologists – Hosts will commence their program of Gallery Talks of the following selected Museum exhibits: Horse riders: The aristocrats of Athens, The sculptor Antenor and The Sanctuary of Asclepios: A sacred healing centre. Gallery Talks will be held in both Greek and English every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
