On Sunday, 25th March, 2018, the Acropolis Museum will celebrate the Greek National Anniversary with free admission for all visitors, both to the Museum’s permanent exhibitions and the temporary exhibition “Eleusis. The Great Mysteries”. The Museum’s galleries will remain open from 9 am to 8 pm.

Visitors will have the opportunity also to attend associated events on the ground floor of the Museum, including a thematic presentation of paintings concerning the Greeks of 1821 and the ancient monuments, from the collection of Michalis and Dimitra Varkarakis, as well as a presentation of painting and calligraphy by Chinese artists from the Shanghai Museum.

The Museum restaurant on the second floor will be serving Greek traditional dishes.
