On Saturday, 19 May, 2018, the Acropolis Museum will celebrate the European Night of Museums, with free admission from 8 pm until midnight. At 8:30 pm, the Athens String Quartet will perform works by W. A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven and 20th-century Greek composer N. Skalkottas, on the second-floor balcony overlooking the Museum’s Archaic Gallery. Guests will have the unique opportunity to enjoy classical music accompanied by a view of Archaic Greek statues.
