How did the ancient sculptors chisel marble? How did they transfer it from the quarry? What types of marble did they prefer? How sophisticated were their tools and how did they bring their creations to life? The sculptures of the Acropolis Museum are hiding many secrets of the ancient marble sculpting and the students are to discover them through numerous visual means.
The program is created and carried out by the Department of Educational Programs of the Acropolis Museum.
