Inside the Parthenon Gallery, students become acquainted with the architecture of the Parthenon and explore its sculptural decoration. The children are divided into three groups, one for each of the sculptural units of the temple (pediments, metopes and frieze). With the help of visual aids and diverse activities, they discover the richness of the temple’s decoration, its unique sculptural composition, as well as the perfection of its sculptures.
The program is created and carried out by the Information and Education Department of the Acropolis Monuments Restoration Service.
