Parthenon: Fair speech, the adventures of the sculptures

How did the Parthenon sculptures ended up in London and other European cities? What circumstances led to the dismemberment of the decoration of the most important monument of classical antiquity? Is it fair or not to request their return and reunification with those in the Acropolis Museum? Originals and replicas of the Parthenon sculptures, as well as fragments that have already returned narrate their adventures and invite students to develop their own argument about an issue that has been begging for a solution for 200 years.

The program was designed and is implemented by the Department of Educational Programs of the Acropolis Museum.
