Base for a dedication located in 1865-1866 near the old Museum on the Acropolis.

It is in the form of an Ionic capital that used to carry on its upper surface a dedication, now lost. The abacus is decorated on three sides with a painted meander, possibly of green colour. The same colour encircles the bronze eyes of the volute and the painted leafs of the echinus. The sides of the capital are also decorated with leaves, rendered in relief on one side and with paint on the other, today barely visible.
