Bibliography

Almost intact three-stepped figurine base. It is rectangular and on its top retains two cuts which would help the figurine stand. The top bears the inscription ΝΙΚΥΛΟΣ ⋮ ΑΝΕΘΕΚΕΝ which has been written from right to left and reads “Nikylos dedicated it”. The base belongs possibly to Athena Promachos' figurine ΕΑΜ Χ 6452.
