Amphora mended of many fragments and restored. It was found in 1964 in well Ζ on the south slope of the Acropolis, in the area where the Stoa of Eumenes was later built.

Its base is flat, the body ovoid, the cylindrical neck wide with outturned rim and the handles vertical. The pot’s surface is burnished and covered in a diluted reddish slip. A thin ring runs around the neck.
