The inscription Κ[Α]ΛΕ, meaning handsome, is retained on the rim. The lower part of the neck and the shoulder are decorated with tongue motifs and dots. The body is divided into rectangle panels covered with black glaze. An ionic cyma and vertical bands with fish-bone motif define the panels. Two small projections high on the vessel’s body are most likely related with its suspension. The uneven colouring is due to the vessel’s misfiring.
