Miniature cooking pot mended from many fragments. It was found in 2000 during the Makrygiannis plot excavation in a foundation ritual pit beneath the floor of House Λ (foundation ritual ΝΜΑ 16).

The globular body is flat-bottomed with imprints of the string dragged under the vessel in order to remove it from the potter’s wheel. The rim, rising from the shoulder, is short and the single handle vertical. All over the surface are retained fire traces.

Miniature cooking pots imitated normal-size vessels of the same type, which was the oldest and simplest cooking ware throughout antiquity. Despite their small dimensions, miniature cooking pots could be used in daily household activities, although they seem to have been employed mostly for ritual purposes.
