The Acropolis Museum says goodbye to the Great Greek Composer Mikis Theodorakis (29 July 1925 - 2 September 2021).
During its 12-year operation, his melodies accompanied Museum visitors to the musical evenings that took place on the second floor balcony overlooking the Archaic Acropolis Gallery, but also in the Museum’s entrance courtyard. On the occasion of the International Museum Day on 18 May 2012, the renowned piano soloist Marios Strofalis played Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis.
