Fragment from the upper left corner of a relief plaque that would depict Athena mounting a chariot. It was unearthed during one of the Acropolis excavation campaigns.

Preserved are part of the goddess’ right hand that grasps the chariot’s front rail and a little over it, an owl, Athena’s symbol. The fragment surface retains white slip. Traces of light-blue and black colour are also preserved on the front of the plaque whereas red covers its back. The fragment corner has a circular depression.
