“Feeder” mended of many fragments and restored. It was found in 1937-1938 during the excavation of the “Mycenaean Fountain” on the north slope of the Acropolis. Its base is disk-shaped and the body globular. A loop handle is attached to the outturned rim and a tubular spout to the shoulder. The pot surface is decorated with brown-red bands.

Vessels of this type have been termed as “feeders” due to their shape. Although their retrieval in children burials has led to the suggestion that they were used for feeding little children, they were most possibly part of household equipment and contained liquids (e.g. oil).
