Almost intact jug found in 1956 in the east Roman cistern on the south slope of the Acropolis. It is flat-bottomed with pear-shaped and horizontally ribbed body and narrow neck with broad everted lip and a single vertical handle. The whole pot is covered in dull red-brown paint. It was most possibly used as a children’s toy.
