Bibliography

Black-glazed cup-skyphos mended from fragments and restored. It was found in 1956 on the south slope of the Acropolis.

The base is ring-shaped with a groove on its exterior, the foot low and the hemispherical body deep with two horizontal handles that rise above the rim. Lustrous black glaze covers the pot apart from a scrapped groove at the body and foot junction and the underside which is decorated with black concentric circles around a dot. On the interior, the floor is adorned with seven stamped linked palmettes around a rosette.
