Intact amphora found in 1957 at a cemetery located on the south slope of the Acropolis. It was used as the urn for the deceased’s cremation contained in Burial XXVIII-M. Apart from the ashes, the pot also held many burnt bones and two iron pins.

Its base is ring-shaped, the body ovoid, the neck cylindrical with vertical rim and two vertical handles. The pot is covered with black paint except for the handles and a wide zone around the body which are left in the colour of the clay. The latter are adorned with parallel bands and horizontal and diagonal lines.
