Vessel for perfumed oil in the form of a Siren. It was found in 1955 at the Sanctuary of the Nymphe in fragments, was reassembled and restored.

The Siren’s body is made on the pottery wheel, her head in a mould while her extremities and tail are handmade. A spout for pouring out the liquid content is located on top of her head and two holes on opposite sides of the neck were used for suspending the vessel with a rope or string. Yellowish slip covers the vessel and black and red paint are used to render the details of the face and extremities. The Siren’s body is covered with dots.
