Vessel for perfumed oil in the form of a hare found on the south slope of the Acropolis, probably at the Sanctuary of the Nymphe.

On the upper part of the animal’s head there is an opening for filling and dispensing its liquid content and a hole below the ears was used for suspending the vessel with a string or rope. Yellowish slip covers the vessel’s surface, while the details of the head and extremities are rendered with brown colour. The body of the hare is adorned with dark brown dots.
