Part of a loutrophoros' body decorated in the red-figure technique. It was pieced together from three fragments –one found in 1955 and the rest in 1957- in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe.

It depicts either a wedding scene with the bride getting ready for the wedding, or the epavlia. The bride sits wearing a chiton with rich folds, necklace and a thin hair band, double wrapped around her head. On her lap a nude Eros wearing a diadem symbolises lust and the marital union of the newlyweds. In front of the bride stood a woman, from whom only one hand survives, holding a small box. Behind her a second woman approaches carrying a decorated loutrophoros-hydria.
