Part of a loutrophoros' body decorated in the red-figure technique. It was found in fragments in 1957 in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe and was reassembled.

It depicts an epavlia scene. The bride, from whom only part of her head survives, is sitting in her new house, welcoming visitors bringing wedding gifts. To the right a woman wearing a wreath offers her a plate filled with grapes. A winged Eros –symbolising the romantic element in marriage- flies over the bride holding a lit torch. Behind him a woman presents the bride with a small box and a fan made of palm leaves. Offering fruit to the bride, that stand for prosperity and fertility, brings to mind customs relating to her welcoming to the new oikos and her integration in it.
