Part of a loutrophoros-hydria decorated in the black-figure technique. It was found in 1957 at the Sanctuary of the Nymphe in fragments that were pieced together.

The decoration on the vessel’s body is organised in zones. The upper zone bears facing Sphinxes, while between the handles there are sitting lions. On a lower band a boar is depicted among opposing panthers, billy goats and a winged Sphinx or Siren. Further down, opposing lions and two deer are presented while the lowest part of the vessel’s body is covered with rays. The handles are decorated with rosettes and lotus flowers.
