Loutrophoros-amphora decorated in the black-figure technique. It was found in 1957 in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe in fragments, and was reassembled and restored.

On the neck of the vase six men wearing chiton and himation are depicted, while between them ribbons are suspended.

The vase’s body is decorated with the “Judgment of Paris”: Hermes with a caduceus and winged sandals is leading Hera, Athena and Aphrodite to Paris, so that he can decide which one is more beautiful. Next to Paris who is moving towards the right, there is a smaller male figure. On the other side of the body, three pairs of men and women conversing and one more man are depicted.

Beneath this scene a band with panthers, birds, hens and Sirens is depicted. The lowest part of the vase is adorned with rays, while the rim and handles are decorated with rosettes.
