Bibliography

Part of a roof-gutter made of clay. It comes from the pediment of an archaic building. Its upper surface has drills for the attachment of an akroterion. The roof-gutter initially bore painted decoration, from which only part of a braid and tongue motifs survive, rendered in red and yellow colour. Folded tongue motifs ornate the upper band. The decoration was etched by a compass just before the sima was placed in the potter’s oven.
