Inscription that marked the entrance to the Sanctuary of Blaute and Gaia (Earth) Kourotrophos. This small shrine located on the Acropolis' southwest slope was dedicated to the worship of the fruit-bearing earth.

Preserved are the four first text lines: ΕΙΣΟΔΟΣ ΠΡΟΣ ΣΗΚΟΝ ΒΛΑΥΤΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΚΟΥΡΟΤΡΟΦΟΥ ΑΝΕΙ[ΜΕ]ΝΗ ΤΩ ΔΗΜΩΙ, which means “Citizen entrance to the Sanctuary of Blaute and Kourotrophos shrine”. From this inscription is deduced that the shrine must have had two altars, one for Blaute and one for Gaia Kourotrophos, possibly worshipped together.
