Restoration of the left window frame from the east façade of the Erechtheion. This frame and an identical one on its right were on each side of the central door that led to the temple’s cella. The frame beams are decorated with braid motif and Lesbian cyma between astragals crowned by a bolster with Lesbian and Ionic cyma which at the sides ends in elegant modillions. The decoration of the entrance frame was similar but executed in larger dimensions.
